Kelly Pavlik vs Arthur Abraham

I'll take Pavlik by UD in this one. Abraham is solid defensively with his high guard and tough as nails but he is just not busy enough and loses round after round to the very active Pavlik. Pavlik also had an excellent chin and can handle the occasional hard hooks that Abraham lands while landing his straighter punches up the middle on Abraham.

 

I think Pavlik has the rangyness, workrate and to footwork to get the better of Abraham.

 

Pavlik was able to decision Taylor. He should be able to do the same against AA.

 

Prime Pavlik UD in a good fight.

 

Pavlik at his peak would have gave Abraham a beating. To much work rate plus Pavlik was more talented,Abraham did hit like a freight train though and had superior one punch power.

 

Another vote for Pavlik by UD.
