Only a person new to boxing would call Bernard "the most boring fighter in boxing history"

But I shouldn't expect too much from you because virtually all your threads are centered around Kelly Pavlik

Hopkins has enough tricks left in his arsenal to win a decision over Pavlik.

Double jabs and a straight right are not gonna beat Hopkins even at 43. Pavlik just doesn't have the skills.

I can see Hopkins having an easy time scoring and making Pavlik miss, but, do his old legs have enough in them to remain active enough to keep up with this tireless kid? I'm not sure at this point.

If Pavlik loses and Calzaghe wins Joe may have to turn to Dawson/Tarver winner. If kelly and joe lose... would there be roy/bhop/daw/tarv type of matchup. That would throw wrench in these megamatchups

    Hopkins making a big mistake.

Pavlik is not only busy like Calzaghe, he actually throws straight shots behind his jab, Hopkin ain't winning this.

I'd rather watch a rematch between bhop and calz

Yeah, because calzaghe and tarver never throw straight shots. Hopkins has only fought fighters that throw wide looping punches. Pavlik will have to at least come up to 170 and every fighter's output goes down when they fight nard because he's such a good counterpuncher. BTW, I can't stand hopkins but this fight is just all wrong for Pavlik.

I got Hopkins on pts .I think the fact that Pavlik does throw to many streight punches is the reason he would lose to Hopkins ..Pavlik will have to land the better power shots to slow stop Hopkins from advancing ..Whats kept Hopkins in the game so long is his ability to slip punches at close quarters .I have yet to see anyone catch Hopkins with a shot that wobbled him ...Snapped his head yeah wince maybe but hurt I haven't seen it since his early days .

Unless Hopkins does finally meet father time on that night experience will prevail ..Hey but Pavlik would have no shame in losing to him either ..
