I doubt it.. So far Pavlik has been rumored to fight Calzaghe, Mora, Williams, Green, and some other fights I can't think of right now I'm sure.. What he needs to do is to go ahead and fight his damn mandatory, Marco Rubio, and then get ready for a megafight against Abraham..

Pavlik vs Hopkins, I'm not sure, but for some reason I wanna' say Pavlik by TKO..

Bernard Hopkins didn't get to rest with Calzaghe on his ass every second of the fight, so he basically threw the fight, bullshitting and acting like a prima donna. Tarver was just lazy, coming straight from the recording studio in the Rocky movie  Bernard choses his opponents wisely, but just like with Taylor and Calzaghe, he's struggling with busy opponents that brings it.

Sure, Tarver has good straight punches, Calzaghe has straight slaps.. Pavlik has a huge wing span, he puts power behind his right hand, and hes pretty damn accurate behind that jab. Expect an ugly fight, but with Pavlik sorting out his distance after a close three or four first rounds, then outworking Hopkins by simply punching...

Pavlik will bring it, winning a 8-4 UD.

Those are just excuses and Tarver and Cazaghe have still proven much more at higher weight classes. Hopkins befuddles every opponent even in losing. Plus even at his advanced age he still has amazing stamina. Tarver has a good wingspan and even more power behind his left, but you have to land the punches. Simply throwing a lot of punches means nothing if you're eating counter rights all night.

I wouldn't mind seeing this match up. After what Hopkins show in his last fight, I think Pav would take a SD, if he can deal with all the dirty **** BHop will bring.

pavlik doesnt set a pace that calzaghe sets and doesnt have his engine so the stamina issue would be less than what it was in the hop-calzaghe fight

Pavlik is predictable with a leaky defense. B-Hop is sneaky with a tight defense. I also think that Pavlik's chin is crackable and Hopkins right hand will land enough to break it.

The only thing that concerns me is that for the first time, Hop shopwed signs of fsatigue in the Callazage fight. If he can't keep up the pace than Pavlik can out hustle him for a decision.

I still pick Hop to KO Pavlik.

Same goes for McKart, Zerducci, Miranda, Taylor and Lockett before they fought Pavlik.

You're right, Jermaines 26 straight landed punches had Pavlik on the mat for .98 seconds.

this fight will problably looks like the calzaghe fight, having hopkings win and getting it taken away from him because the judged give fight to most active fighter instead of who lands more.
