Kelly Pavlik vs Bernard Hopkins

In a very boring fight ... this gets taken to the scorecards and ends in a draw.

Hopefully Kels does enough in the early rounds and fights at a pace that's too fast for Bernard ... I can't see Pavlik getting past those right hands and he takes a full step back in a straight line - that's not good against Hopkins because he could score then tie him up ...

I wish that Kels gets the KO but this isn't a good fight for him and just because I like his style ... I'm going to say that he gets the draw.

 

Hopkins on points.

Pavlik is still to green to fight Hopkins imo, especially at 170.

Pavlik didnt seem to hurting Taylor in their rematch (except for the body shot), so i dont know how effective Pavliks power will be at 170.

Plus he is fighting Hopkins who has an excellent defense and chin.

Oh Oh remeber in Pavlik v Taylor 2 when Pavlik was getting frusterated with Taylors movement and he was complaining to his corner???

Well if he was getting frusterated with Taylor what about Hopkins's bag of tricks?
