He ate up Miranda's shots and didnt flinch, Froch isnt much bigger/stronger than Miranda. Taylor is 6'1 himself and while he isn't a big puncher that KD that put Kelly on ***** street was behind the ear which is gonna kill anyones equlibrium.

Doesn't matter whether you think something was physically wrong with Miranda that night, or that it was simply the efficacy of Pavlik's gameplan to back him up - either way, Miranda was rendered as harmless as a declawed kitten. The fact that he managed to wing a few hard desperate shots in the middle of crumbling for several rounds is more a testament to the chasms in Pavlik's defense than anything else.

 

Your mistake may be in thinking Kelly won't 'scale' well at 168. Imagine him letting his walk around weight go up 8 pounds between camps. Then his same insane work ethic getting ready for a fight at 168. He has the frame/build to carry another eight pounds of muscle.
