The only question is how Pavlik beats Lockeet does Kelly play it safe and box Gary from long range busting up the Walshman with his jab then coming over with big right hand or will Pavlik slug it out head to head with Lockett giving Gary a punchers chance of landing a big punch. Either way I see Pavlik scoring a brutal knockout:bbb

Lockett will die in the ring and his lifeless body will be consumed by ****ing maggots in the dressing room after the fight.

Only his bones will be sent back to Wales for burial. :dead

This is a tough call. But I'll go with the Champ.

how is it a tough call? Have you seen much of Lockett? He's slow as **** and has power against tomato cans but not against hald decent opponents. So even this 'punchers chance' stuff is a massive long shot.
It seems he only got his fight as he's past of the now famous Calzahe stable, and if he wins it'll be an upset of almost Tyson-Douglas proportions

Just read this on the BBC:

"Underdog Gary Lockett insists his world title shot against superstar champion Kelly Pavlik is a "no lose" situation."

No lose  I think just "lose" is a better description

This will be worse than Buster-Tyson. At least Buster had a jab.

This is one bad mismatch... Pavlik should win by an early KO... anything other than that will be a disappointment...

I think Pavlik is way overrated, people are talking about his possible ATG status, already!

    WTF!

That said, he is bloody good, and will have far too much for Lockett. To put him in perspective, not many have him top 10 P4P in the UK - never mind fit to challenge a top 10 P4P fighter in Pavlik.

He doesn't even have a punchers chance.

Nor does he have the right attitude - in this months edition of Boxing Monthly, he defended his decision to challenge for a domestic title, saying that the WBU is more important!

Like anyone will remember guys (favourably) who duck out of challenging for domestic honours to fight for paper titles, and then get sparked by their first meaningful opponent.
