    Golovkin is ranked number one by the WBC and WBO so we will see this fight soon. Who do guys see winning this fight?

    I really want to see a big fight for Golovkin soon...The kid has outstanding skills and has great future in the wide open middleweight division...

    Golovkin is way over rated because of his amateur career which i pointed to in another thread. His record is padded. He will be lucky to see round 3 against Pavlik. Hes not even close to top 10 at MW. He can't punch hard and he lacks speed.

    I have to look up Golovkin. I've never heard of him, so I can't vote.

    I think Gennady is a good fighter but has a small Frame and just is not big or tough enough stand with Pavlik. The more powerful Dimitry Pirog I think has a better shot at Pavlik:rasta

    Pavlik is younger, but hasn't fought in 7 years.

    The fact that Jermaine Taylor dropped Pav, makes me think GGG does to.

    Taylor wasn't a soft puncher, but not a ko artist either. The key to this fight is range. Hopkins knew to stay in close where Kelly couldn't extend that long reach-where he draws that power from.
    Martinez win over Pavlik I think was based on his quick shots from unorthodox angles..and that he cut Kelly making it look worse than it was. I think Pav came on strong at the end, but wasnt enough.
    GGG can get inside and I think does damage and cuts Pavlik as well.

    GGG wins in a shootout better than Pavlik vs Miranda.

    Epic fight... very hard to favor one over the other head to head at their peaks.

    I think I give the edge to Pavlik 55/45 in one of the best possible middleweight matchups and what would have most likely been one of the best championship fights at middleweight in the last 15 years IMO.

    Brutal.


    Ill go Pavlik by UD.

    I can't think of a fighter GG has beaten that was good enough like a prime Taylor, the only one that comes a bit close is Jacobs but Taylor is still better and Kelly Cleary beat and stop him, GG left a lot of doubts in a very close fight...
