Kelly Pavlik vs. Giovanni Lorenzo in the works for Nov. 13th?

Lorenzo is as good as it gets for an undercard/tune-up opponent for Pavlik.

Now I don't think that Pavlik should even take a tune-up because this is only his second fight of the year, he has been inactive lately and Martinez didn't really beat him up that badly.

But since I got tickets to the show I am glad that its happening this way because if he fought Sturm/Pirog etc it wouldn't be on this undercard.

Give credit to Top Rank if this happens, that is three solid undercard fights.

 

Pavlik by TKO, around round 7. Lorenzo cannot handle pressure and straight punches. He freezes up.

 

Pavlik vs Lorenzo is a good fight given the circumstances. I wouldn't be suprised to see Pavlik fight again on the Cotto undercard the next month.

Anyword who Golovkin will be fighting on this card?

I have no idea what the hell is going on! Apparently someone from Edouard's team called Top Rank Tuesday morning, and said their boy could not fight for medical reasons. This afternoon they called back and said Edouard is good to go.

 

Steve Kim is now saying its Vera. Terrible.

 

It's very rude to call Daniel Edouard a bum.
He's not a top class fighter - but he's not a bum. He's a very capable boxer and a gentleman outside of the ring.

 

youre right, hes not a bum. everyone that calls decent fighters bums have never stepped into a ring. Edouard is a decent fighter and deserves a payday, blame Pavlik and his team for going after this fight. Id take it if I were Daniel, dont blame him

 

Edouard's best wins are better than Lorenzo's best wins, and Edouard has a much more exciting style. Pavlik/Edoaurd will be similar to Pavlik/Zertuche, and that was a hell of a good show.

 

B-scene are also reporting that it's going to be Vera.
