Joe Calzaghe. This is the worst match-up available to Kelly. Calzaghe has ring intelligence, quick feet, strikes from odd angles and doesn't tire out.

From Calzaghe's standpoint, Pavlik is a straight come forward fighter who is slower than he is. Remind you of anyone? Sure, Pavlik's punches are straighter and he has more reach than Lacy, but still, I'd have to favor Calzaghe.

I am petty curious if Pavlik will carry his power up with him.

Calzaghe WIDE ud or TKO. Pavlik could retire in the corner - even being the true warrior he is.

Don't even begin to compare KP to that hay-maker-throwing muscle-bound bum that was Jeff Lacy.

So Calzaghe slaps Kelly into submission???

Can't wait for this one. But Joe C has to get by Kessler & that might not happen. As much as I want Kessler to beat Joe, if JC wins, all we'll have to look forward to is Pavlik vs Calzahge.

I rate Pavlik over Lacy, but he's not a ATG or anything. I'd actually have no favorite in a fight between Joe and Kelly, but Joe is in another class. Kelly has a decent shot if he carries all his power up with him, but I'm not sure that'd happen.

There's a good chance he'd be even slower at 168. Handspeed kills -- it's the only thing he really had a problem with in his fight with Taylor.

I know Pavlik has very hurtful punches but Calzaghe would easily out slug him, simply with speed, skill and accuracy.

Calzaghe slaps Pavlik around for 8 rounds, gets cocky and KO'd in the 10th or 11th.

    Pavlik wins.

Lacy would stop Pavlik. I cannot believe how overhyped this guy is. He is a good fighter, good power and good heart. That is about it. He is slow, has not great footwork, is easy to hit and does not have a particularly fantastic chin..not a bad chin, but certainly not Lacy like.

Lacy hits probably as hard and has a better chin, so the two of them would meet in a brawl and Lacy wins.

As for Calzaghe..PLEASE. It would utterly one sided. Pavlik has no way near the speed or ability to trouble Calzaghe. Kessler is a real tough fight, Pavlik would struggle to get near Calzaghe.

Focus prime Robin Reid beats both Pavlik and Taylor.
