Kelly Pavlik vs Joe Calzaghe who wins?

Ok, ill give you Eubank, but still that was 10 years ago, and its sad that even still thats his biggest fight against a fading guy 10 years ago. Cmon man, thats weak...

 

I am not looking at the past 3 fights, I am looking at total resumes. Pavlik has my respect, a lot of it. I am neither disrespecting his accomplishments or his professional pride and ambition.
I am saying he does not have the tools to beat Calzaghe and he doesn't. Being a banger at Middleweight does not mean you can step in and stop a guy who is a big supermiddle who has shown to have a very solid chin and more importantly who has superior boxing skills in every single other department.

 

Indeed it is, because Calzaghe has been a greedy, comfort zone **** for most of his career. Happy to fight no hopers and earn his money rather than test himself as often as he should. However whenever he has tested himself against very very good fighters he has won. And when he has been totally focused he has shown himself to be an outstanding talent that is simply on another level to a gutsy, puncher like Kelly Pavlik.

 

Calzaghe

 

Pavlik would be far to easy for Joe to hit. TKO or a wide margin UD

 

Calzaghe would make Pavlik look like an amateur. Pavlik has better technique than Lacy for sure but he doesn't have the speed or the one punch power to
trouble JC in any particular way. Calzaghe would slap him silly en route to a late TKO

 

I like Pavlik but I hope he faces the winner of JC-MK just to shut a few people on here up.

 

Resumes don't win you fights. Otherwise Jermain Taylor would have destroyed Pavlik. It doesn't matter who Pavlik has fought and defeated in terms of predicting who would win this fight because none of the people he has defeated are similar to Calzaghe. Calzaghe is a stylistic nightmare for Pavlik
