    Calzaghe is the far superior fighter in my opinion.

    He is also bigger and bedded in at 168. He'd probably stop Pavlik if his hands held up. If he breaks his hand early enough I suppose Pavlik might have a chance at a horrible decision.

    Cant look PAST Kessler:nono My pick is Calzaghe, but Kessler is the #1 168 challenger.

    If Pavlik wins the option rematch with Taylor, then that fight is the logical conclusion. Pavlik has the type of power that gives him a shot with anyone. The added defense, makes this one to simmer on :cool:

    pavlik has 2 punches. jab and right. he is oly going to throw one of them. i saw calzaghe against lacy. looked quite good. if you have 2 punches that guy will read you. need more. pavliks is open to. he wont hit that calzaghe much. reflexes reading him. calzaghe will find the target. lots.

    All the Pavlik hype is ****ing funny. He beat a REAL shitty fighter in Miranda and although I give him big props for stopping Taylor after getting owned in the 2nd and being well down on the scorecards, Calzaghe would **** him.

    Pavlik struggled with Taylor's handspeed, nobody can deny this, Calzaghe's hands are much faster than Jermaine's, added to which he can finish his man when he has him in trouble.

    This would be a complete mismatch.

    Sorry folks, but there's nothing much happening in the Middleweight division right now, both Kess and Calzaghe would annihilate Pavlik.
