Since when has Taylor had a good chin? He would be moving up in weight on top of it.

how many of Bute's fights have you seen. as i stated i am a fan of both. i picked Pavilk ove Miranda because i thought he was being underated, which he obviously was. BUT, i do feel that Bute being the naturally bigger man and having the better skill is enough for him to win.

Where were you able to confirm that? I haven't even been able to confirm whether or not he's Polish.

    AND THAT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER!!!

I like every damned thing about Pavlik. He knows how the dismantle his opponent. He's a lefty fighting orthodox, which gives him an advantage & shows he's got smarts in the ring. The way he picks his shots is incredible. And after the Miranda fight, people can't even argue whether or not he has a good chin, cause he's proved he does many times. His defense isn't all that bad either.

no disrepect meant Jetski but none of that means ****. bute is the naturally bigger man. Pavlik is very stronger for 160 but no one will know what he will be at 168. remember Hatton at 47? i could be wrong for sure but i would have to say the smart money would be on Bute. the real question is do you think we will ever find out?

Absolutely. After Kelly takes out Taylor, maybe he'll defend at that weight, but for sure he will go to 168 & then 175. He's only 25, so time is on his side. Like I said, he will be more comfortable making wt at 168 & with his skills & punching power, I don't see him losing.

Pavlik by decision. Pavlik is actually BIGGER than Bute, so the size advantage doesn't come into play. Bute's probably more skilled, and while his body looks more developed, he clearly punches weaker. This is a boxing match, not a beauty contest. Also, Pavlik has shown the ability to pressure and use a high workrate deep into a fight, while Bute seemed to languish for long periods in an effort to conserve energy. All that extra muscle mass is using up too much oxygen, and as a result, he can't do as much as he should be able to. All three of Calzaghe, Kessler and Pavlik beat him on decision.

It's pretty obvious that all this Bute talk is just an effort by Calzaghe's fans to pump him up so that Calzaghe looks better when he pummels Bute's lily white ass while dodging the real fights against P4P quality quys :yep

Too many people confuse themselves with height and SIZE.

    Example:

Poster1: Bute is bigger than Pavlik

Poster2: No, Pavlik is 6'2"1/2 and Bute is 6'2"

I thing u are talking here about Pavlik that win with ''Just words and nothing else'' Miranda lill cat.

If it is so you should respect also Bute he is a strong boxer that showed reliability in the ring and i think the same as Pavlik.

SO it will be a very good fight.

In my opinion it can go eather way

If Pavlik gets by Taylor this would be a good first fight at 168 for him. Bute will have beaten Berrio for the IBF belt when this fight will be a possibility.

Tell me again why we're so high on Bute? He's beaten who and why should I care?

I haven't seen **** to back up this kinda hype job. He's decent, but I'm not that impressed yet.
