No its really without question that Kelly carries his power up as he's done more than 40% of his career....do your ****ing research

Kessler won't have a choice but to fight....and oh yea he's a fighter not a bonefide trackstar

More uneducated euros with more mindbending analysis all based on lack of knowledge:happy

and Kessler got beat by the Cardiff Ice Rink Champion, the same guy who was floored by a senior citizen, the same guy who in 45 fights has fought 3 good opponents, the same guy many refer to as "the coward of boxing" for ducking Pavlik to fight yet another senior citizen, he goes by the name of Joe

I didn't say he wouldn't fight. I said he wouldn't trade punches with Kelly. Why would he?

I say KeSSLEer by KO, but pav could KO him also. I just think when JT threw his jab at pav he did a great job. Kessler only throws his jab to setup that uppercut

I think it would be a terrific fight!

Neither Kelly or Kessler would dominate the other for sure.

I just see the better boxing ability in Kessler so would have to favour him.

Lets hope the evil WBA dont get their way with the mandatory and Kessler fights either Miranda-Abraham winner, Pavlik, Froch or maybe Bute.

As I said he really won't have a choice in the matter, unless of course the ring is 80ft x 80ft Kessler will be going backwards dealing with a high workrate and serious power.......don't think Kelly knows how to cut the ring off? Have fun with that idea:patsch

That's why I said, "as long as they get up". :D To many people on this forum confuse knock down with knock out and end of career.

I think he means Kessler won't stand there and go to war with Pavlik. He wants to play to his strengths, not close the gap between their boxing ability

But of course, they will mainly trade punchers because Kessler isn't a runner, he stands in range mostly. Kessler will fight a disciplined fight behind the jab as he always does, he'll trade punches, but hopefully he'll block a lot more of Pavlik's than vice-versa.

I agree, but my point was that Pavlik has been held to fairer standards than many other boxers. That Pavlik gets a fair handshake is not a bad thing at all; what's a bad thing is that there is a double-standard.

Kelly will be cutting the ring off, but in doing so he will put himself into a position to be hit by huge counter-punches. Kessler LOVES for his opponents to cut the ring off and come at him; that's his fight, not a trading fight, which would be good for Pavlik.

You don't have to run to avoid trading punches. That's how many boxers do it, but it's hardly the only way.
