Kelly PAVLIK vs. Paul WILLIAMS: is it really that bad?

This is going to be Trinidad Vargas all over again !!

 

Pavlik is going to ruin Paul the same way Tito ruined Vargas .

 

You guys gave Taylor so much **** over Ouma and Spinks.. If Pavlik fights Williams, it makes those two fights look like Superfights.

Fighting a WW is a joke, no matter how big a WW he is.. he still makes the 147 limit.. which means he is a WW.

 

all williams has to do is not get hit!

Paul Williams is a really a middleweight posing as a welterweight so I have no problems with this fight. Williams has the size and workrate to make the fight interesting.

 

I don't beleive that for one 2nd that he will be successful jumping up 2 divisions with out a tune up ..

He will look as bad if not worse as Hatton did at welter ..And against Pavlik forget it ..It will be Paul The Punished Williams soon enough ..

Personally i'd rather see Pavlik v Mundine then v Williams.

Mundine is the former SMW WBA belt holder (although it was regarded regular belt as Calzaghe was the real holder)

Mundine went 12rds with Kessler so it will be a good guide how Pavlik will go. If he's impressive and stops Mundine early - mid rds then fight AA in December and then Kessler next year at SMW.

 

Well according to some no one else was available ..But yet Mundine 's schedule was open for the next few months :huh How could they have missed him :think

 

I would like to see Paul fight Winky at MW before a Pavlik, but I wonder who he would spar against to prepare him for such a bout.

 

There has been some real talk about Pavlik Vs. Williams. Pavlik by knockout.

 

Is it really that bad? A lot will be determined by 'fight weights' I would think. If Pavlik steps in more that 5 pounds different than Williams, then YES it is a bad fight.
