All i know is that KP was stumbling against the rope headed to his corner at the end of the round

    Williams can't take Pavlik's punches.

My pick has BEEN Pavlik. Nothing new. Haven't seen Pavlik/Espino.. Like that's anything to go on.. Williams/Margarito, now that's something to go on. If a fighter as slow and lumbering as Margarito can tag Williams up you better believe Pavlik can do it. Pavlik by stoppage.

Pavlik is just a fundamentally better fighter, bigger, and about 5 times the power.

Williams has made a career by being a champion level weight cutter picking on naturally smaller guys; fundamental straight punches, better reach than Williams is used to, and bone crushing power will be way to much against simple volume punches.

Williams is going to find out that now that he can't simply cut a **** load of weight and out volume smaller guys with windmill glorified slaps he will get his lights shut off by a long rangy fundamentally sound killer.

Nothing has changed my view even after the Hopkins loss for Pavlik and Williams win over Wright.

Pavlik has been tested in the MW for years now, stood his ground against heavier, quality opposition.

Pavlik will break him down. Possibly knock Williams down in more than one occasion.

The Espino victory wouldn't necessarily change anyone's mind. That fight went as expected. It was seeing how hittable Williams still is when we saw him in with Martinez that probably swayed people's views.

Williams has skills and all, but he's still too small and his defense is too leaky for me to think he'll last, let alone beat the middleweight champ. Kelly's jab will be key here in setting up and blinding his powershots, and once enough of them land, it's lights out for P. Willy.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Williams is about as difficult to hit as a barn door, and if soft-hitting LMWs can rock him, Pavlik will knock him into the middle of next year.

Oh, and he'll do it before round 4. You heard it here first!

I hope there is a copy of the post fight press conference on line tomorrow. I'd like to hear the "extended version" of what Pavlik and Arum had to say.

Pavlik and Arum straight up called Team Williams on their bull**** immediately after the fight. I was surprised by Arum. George Peterson seriously pissed Arum off, and usually when someone pisses off The Bob Father, he turns his back on them and refuses to deal with them. Not this time.

Kelly wasn't shy either. He's a Top Rank fighter, and Arum does not like his guys to call out specific opponents. Kelly usually Obliges, and says something rather vague about the future. This time Arum spoke first, and KP simply backed his play. The ball is back in Paul's court. I'm anxious to see what he does with it.

This is a loaded question...Sergio is one of boxing's best kept secrets...his style was all wrong for Paul Williams and it showed in the ring. The fact that paul Williams got the decision, although controversial, speaks volumes of the Punisher's potential.

Also, Kelly simply did what he had to do tonight against a guy who lost to Peter Manfredo in the contender...Espino is a good fighter, but nowhere near the caliber of Sergio Martinez.

With that said, I think Kelly Pavlik teaches Paul Williams a lesson in humility. I like Paul Williams and I have a lot of respect for him, but he will get knocked out be kelly pavlik. Kelly is a very tough fighter who throws just as many punches as Paul Williams and with more starch on them. He will back the punisher up and put him out around the 5th round.
