How long until Williams moves up in weight? Man, I can't believe at 6'2'' and with his frame, he makes the welterweight limit. He must be moving up to jr middleweight and definitely middleweight at some point right?

I can't believe that there are 2 IDIOTS who picked Williams by KO. :patsch :-(

The guy whom Taylor failed to KO will be KOed by the guy coming from the lower weight class and is known for throwing volume puff punches?

    :rofl :D

I assume if by some luck Williams wins, he will stay as a middleweight. But if he loses, does he drop all the way back to 147 or just stay 160 or go down to 154?

Whats the point of this for Williams, why doesn't he hang around and try fight Cotto?

A onesided loss on his record isn't exactly a great thing to have.

Unless he really thinks in his mind that he can beat Kelly Pavlik.

The reason for Paul taking the fight is simple. Its a big money fight for him, and thats something thats been alluding him at 147. Plus its a no-lose fight for him. NONE at all will be giving him any chance at winning, and if by some divine intervention chance he pulls the upset.... skys the limit.

He'll get stopped though, make no mistake about it, but I'm not surprised he took the fight. The dude has balls.

Its a lose-lose fight for Pavlik. When he wins, he'll get no credit for beating up a welter. Even though Williams is more a jnr middleweight, or even middleweight than he is a welter.

Paul's a confident guy, I'm sure he really does believe that he can win. And even when he loses, he'll at least go down trying to win. I think he'll give a better account of himself than bum ass Lockett did.

If he waits for Cotto, he's gonna be waiting AT LEAST til next year. Cotto will be fighting Oscar after he's done with Margarito.

Its still not official as of yet, but Williams is the front-runner and the fight Arum wants.
