    Vincent Gottschalk is somekind of 'Pavlik fighting bums' nuthugger. He seems remarkably unenthusiastic about the prospects of Pavlik fighting Abraham, didn't really go overboard for Pavlik v Hopkins, but gets ridiculously overexcited when the likes of Duddy, Mora or Rubio are mentioned. He'd probably get the :happys out for a Lockett rematch.

    Possibly he's actually Kelly's mum and doesn't want him playing with those big rough boys...

    This makes me so happy:happy This is I hope it plays out with Pavlik fighting Mora then Duddy and Abraham at end of the year:good

    Don't worry, though. Mora turns down title shots. AC is driving distance to Ohio - that's too close to KP's hometown. He'll turn it down.

    I think Arum and Duddy will have a heart to heart and decide now is the time to cash in as best they can. Besides, he's still marketable. There's always a Lee fight out there for him at some point.

    Now now I just believe in letting a fight build up with lots of Hype so biggest amount of people watching it at this point only hard core boxing fans would buy Pavlik vs Abraham. Pavlik vs Mora will big because both men have big fans bases some thing with Pavlik vs Duddy. Let Abraham fight on US TV more before start talking Pavlik vs Abraham. By the way Pavlik beats Abraham and fear not a fight between them:bart

    We differ on a lot of things...but the biggest is how to built up a fight.

    It's not really Pavlik who needs the bigtime exposure to make a unifier profitable in the US but Abraham.
    Abraham is the one who needs to fight a popular/name opponent to make it worth for the public to buy a Pavlik vs. Abraham PPV card...

    Mora does not have a big fan base. He really doesn't have much of a fan base at all. Not only that, but he was just dismantled by an aging JMW in his last fight. No one outside of Ohio is going to pay attention to this fight.

    HA! Had a look at Mora's official site - hasn't been updated since summer 2007!

    BTW, the thread starter is taking the word of a poster on a Mora forum site. Good source. Maybe best to wait for something official.

    I doubt it.

    Sergio Mora losing badly against Vernon @ 154lbs gives him an opportunity to fight for the MW titles that Pavlik holds?

    I highly doubt it.. if theres any truth to this it would be a farce.

    Mora does have a large fan base in terms of people who will watch him fight Pavlik.
    # 1 Who hate him will tune in to watch get beat up by Pavlik
    # 2 people who were fans of contender series

    That show has been dropped by two different networks for a reason

    Outside of his family, there aren't any. You're delusional if you think Mora has a large fanbase.
