Pavlik will win by stoppage in the late rounds. Again, Forrest has a rematch clause so Mora is smart to move up and make some money. If he loses, he still has his 154 belt. If he wins, you have a new star.

I guess Mora has to give up the 154 title to fight at 160.

 

Please NO! Arum will never learn it seems. Both Cotto-Gomez (another The Contender series fighter) and Pavlik-Lockett did the lowest ratings ever for an HBO Championship telecast. Why another serious mismatch? F* Marquez and the IBF, bring on Pavlik vs. Abraham right away! Or Duddy, it's still better than SERGIO MORA! No offense, he's a decent fighter, but should stay at 154 which is the most comfortable for him. He won't get destroyed.

Not surprised. Disappointed that Pavlik is fighting three times in 2008 without making a single meaningful defense of the title, but so it goes. At least he's active, and obviously he wanted a make the PfP power play against Calzaghe.

I'm not going to complain about this bout as long as it isn't PPV. If Arum thinks this is a $50 fight, he's ****ing nuts. As someone else mentioned, this would be a great fight to put on one of the major TV networks.

 

As far as I'm concerned, Pavlik can drop all of the belts. Everyone knows he's the champ.

As long as he fights Abraham in the fight after Mora, all is well.

 

I have been on the forum to say Mora has no chance and was proved wrong before, you would think I would learn from that, But I havent Mora is going to get his ass whipped, is he looking to just cash in and retire?

 

Why would Mora turn down Taylor but agree to get his head knocked off by Pavlik:roll:
