Pavlik is so basic....only having read about Flowers I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he wins a UD.

I think I'd see the cleverer Flowers take this one.

If Pavlik manages to land one of his bombs on Flowers, the Tiger and his decent (at best) chin are done for. But my guess is that the faster Georgia Deacon will smother Kelly under an avalanche of leather, keeping him off balance and unable to get set.

Flowers smacks, swats and mauls Pavlik and cops a UD. Unless Kelly lands a perfectly-timed bomb on the onrushing Tiger's whiskers....

I'de go with 1924 prime Flowers that so impressed Harry Greb and his MGR.

You have to favor Flowers and give Pavlikk a punchers chance. Flowers just has a much better resume though.

Tiger Flowers with his southpaw unorthodox barrages, outworks Kelly Pavlik easily.
Having never seen the Georgia Deacon, I envision him to be an earlier edition of
Bert Lytell, member of "murderers row ".

I doubt Flowers would give Pavlik a chance to get set for his punches, the way Hopkins wouldn't and Martinez too for the most part. Thus his puncher's chance is closer to zero. He made his career out of Jermain Taylor's habit of gassing out and laying on the ropes along with the crude Miranda whom he was able to push backwards to the ropes.

    Absolutely no doubt there.

I've just read over the years that Flower was a real kill or be killed fighter. Hard to decision, more or less knock him out or nothing.

Pavlik has an iron chin, or something close to it with great power. Big MW too.
