Kelly Pavlik vs Winky Wright who wins?

Calzaghe-Pavlik would be a better scrap, but little chance of it happening unless Cali agrees to come to the states, but don't hold your breath..:-(

 

Wright will be difficult, but pavliks superior power and strengthe will get him a clear ud..

He's just so hard to hit and he keeps people at bay with that jab. Remember that Wright is naturally right handed so his right hand is his strong hand. Too much defense and skill IMO. Pavlik might catch Wright but i seriously doubt it.

 

Pavlik is way too open and one dimensional to beat Winky, winky's defence combined with his excellent technical skills would be a nightmare for Pavlik,

Winkys to old now, and surley the last thing a old fighter would need,is a big hitting young guy in the same ring with him,id say mid fight ko win for pavlik,BUT you never can tell.

 

wright several years ago at 154 and wright today at 160+ are two completely different fighters. if winky even bothers to cover-up with his peakaboo-d, pavlik punches right through it or catches him with uppercuts.

Winky was fat and starting to gas against Hopkins late, that extra 10 pounds was really bad for him.

If Winky can return to from ala Taylor or Tito then he wins a decision, if he looked like he did against Hops then he gets stopped late.

 

Kelly Pavlik by UD or late TKO...not a good matchup stylistically for Winky in my opinion.
