Kelly Pavlik will be known as the McCrusher by the end of 08?

Pavlik's agenda for 2008:

Pavlik KO5 Taylor
Pavlik KO4 Duddy
Pavlik KO7 Abraham
Pavlik - first degree murder - Lee

Andy Lee is an exciting prospect, but he needs to fight somebody with a heartbeat before Steward feeds him to Pavlik. Right now they need to be looking at guys like Archak Termelikstaitian or Enrique Ornelas. After that maybe Zuniga or Zertuche. Then go after Felix Sturm. If he can getting through all that with his "0" intact, then give him a shot at Pavlik. Right now, if they fought today, Zuniga and Zertuche would beat poor andy half to death. All the talk about andy fighting pav is just ridiculous, and i hope it doesn't happen. I would much rather see them meet at 168 when Kelly is in his prime, and andy is far more developed than he is today.

I think Pavlik beats Duddy, Lee and probably Abraham, but I'm curious about this rematch with Taylor. Taylor will come very hungry, we may see him avenging his loss.

 

Duddy is a money fight - plain and simple! It will be a big payday for everyone involved, and could turn out to be the biggest one John ever gets. Personally I think it's okay for Kelly to pop out a couple of "routine title defense." Since October 2005 Pavlik has fought 6 times against opponents with a combined record of 163 fights and 116 KO's. The only one who was even a little bit questionable was Pierre, and he was 18-2 at the time wih 13 KO's. My point is that it's okay for Pav to take a bit of a break so long as he steps up and takes the big fights as well.

If he was very intelligent he would have boxed more, but he couldn't becasue there is one problem. He's not a very skilled boxer. I thought Taylor would have beat him if he had used his jab and boxed more.
