Kelly Pavlik Will Commit Legal Murder on Nov 13th

In spite of the losses no one will convince Brian Vera that he is a journeyman. This is the type of fight he'll jump at the opportunity to take. He does not have an "Opponent" mentality. He is "upset minded" and will come in looking to win. I like that, and I also like the fact that he is not a smaller guy who has to move up. He should be very comfortable with the weight.

Wow...First Miguel Espino, now Brian Vera. Kelly Pavlik really loves "The Contender". I wonder what would happen if "other" fighters at this stage of their careers with 38 fights and being a former title holder were fighting competition like this? Hmmmmmmm:-(

 

This is a garbage fight, although one in which Pavlik will look good in knocking him out. It's a confidence booster, nothing more. Vera is coming off 4 losses in his last 5 fights.

 

Pavlik doesn't like the idea of participating in tournaments, but loves to feast on what's left of them.

 

It's been a long time since Pavlik did something impressive

 

Sorry you can't accept Kelly is a week minded alcoholic who's career is pretty much done. Watching him fight is like watching the tin man from Wizard of Oz. Hes so stiff and robotic . He can only throw a "double jab with a straight right" added with an occasional left hook to the body. He gets slower and slower every fight and his cuts are worse than Arturo (RIP) Gatti's at this point of his career. He wines and is a cry baby. Plus he's toast if he fights anyone decent with any kind of moblity. His best days are behind him. He really is just a John Duddy caliber fighter now days. Stop dick riding that bum.:-(

Vera is a good comback opponent, he beat Andy Lee, and this isnt for a title anyway.

 

AA might have knocked out Demers faster as well if he used his elbows like Vera did. :rofl

 

I was really hoping for Lorenzo as I thought it had the potential to be a real fight. This will be over in the first round. :-(

 

I don't mind Vera as Pavlik's opponent. I think he's better than Edouard and I think he'll make it a fun fight while it lasts. Pavlik will obviously ko Vera and probaly within the first 4-5 rounds but Vera will come to fight.

This fight should get Pavlik back on a winning track and make him look good in front of a lot of people. But no more Vera's, Espinos, Locketts, or people of that caliber next. If he stays at 160 he needs to face the Williams-Martinez winner. If he goes to 168 he needs to face Bute or someone like Bika or Andrade at the least.

 

I hope Vera whips his ass lol... Why did you even choose the word play acting as if Pav is good lol...

 

Damn, i was hoping it was going to be Lorenzo. My Dominicano from the heights. it would have been a good fight. Lorenzo has a good right hand and so does Kelly.
