I like how these bandwagoners are all like, "Yeah i knew Pavlik was going to be great before the Miranda fight" no you didnt.
id love to see a MW unification. hasnt been done since hopkins. i know taylor had the belts but he tossed 2 of them. AA and FS are good fighters. id like to see pavlik or winky fight either. i heard sturm and wright could happen this summer
After the McKart fight I told everyone who would listen that Kelly would be the next world champ at 160. I still think that in most quarters he is under-rated. Apparrently Gary Lockett, Pavlik's next opponent, is not under-rating him. In a recent interview Lockett talked about how he stands to make 4 to 5 times what he made in any previous fight, and then he said; "Some fights are so brutal that you will never be the same again as a fighter. If it's going to be the last bout of your career, you might as well get paid well for it." Boo
Yeah. "Hamptsterdamn" put up some links to Kessler to show how great he is. One was against Andrade. My jaw dropped. Not many pro fighters I think I could outbox at 55, but he was the slowest sloth I've seen in a ring in some time.
Yep -- after the second Taylor fight he was pretty banged up. That's the worst I've ever seen him look.
You seem pretty high on him, but what of Mirandas' claim of de-hydrated? Does that hold H2O with you??
Not with me. I think that at 168 Pavlik would dispose of Miranda even quicker. Kelly gets better with each fight. Miranda doesn't change. By the time the fight could be made you have Pavlik fighting JT twice plus Lockett, and maybe Abraham, winky, or both. Miranda will have fought David Banks and ? ? ?. This would turn out to be the same fight as the first one only Pavlik gets hit less and Miranda gets hit more; end of story. Boo
I think pavlick has a few good years left.................I can see him adopting a more defensive game though as he is now in the big time
