yeah whatever. You're stalking me from thread to thread on an Internet forum and fantasizing I'm gay, all from your mother's basement. And on a forum whose sport you know nothing about. That's healthy. I'm just glad you're too ******ed to know how to use the pm button. atsch
It would've been a good, close fight. Lot of nuthuggers on here talking about how picking Pavlik to win is trolling or GGG crushes him with ease, man gtfo.
Meanwhile your stalking everyone on the site who picks on your lover, but that's good thing, when someone picks on the object of your affection you should always valiantly defend their honor, your such a loyal boyfriend, its people like you that make my cold cynical heart skip a beat and make me believe in true love, because your such a devoted partner, your GGG's Sweety young love is so cute and cuddly. My PM is almost full, and I don't feel like wasting one on a douchebag,
What current fighters would you favor over him? Who do you consider good or is the entire era weak in your estimation? Claiming that Golovkin is "not that good" sure sounds like hyperbole to most.
I would favor Golovkin. I was a huge Pav fan, but a prime Pavlik was an inch away from defeat from Jermain Taylor before he rallied to stop him. It took Pavlik a long time to do that and he nearly did not get the chance. He nearly took out Martinez, a post prime Pav, so that should be considered as well. What else? The guys he torched on the way up Zuniga, Zertuche, Miranda, they don't have high boxing IQ's like Golovkin. I know Pavlik was bringing huge power and could take big shots (see the Miranda fight), and Golovkin's style is such that he does tend to take some shots to get his more accurate, well landed shots in, but I don't think Golovkin would fight that way vs Pavlik. It would have been a very, very interesting fight. We still have no idea just how great Golvokin is, we have a trajectory of greatness that we see, that we think he MAY be, and I would say if he is indeed as great as he has so far proven to be against the B level fighters, that he would win a decision against Pavlik. However, the idea that Pavlik would not only win, but absolutely beat the snot out of Golovkin is not a ridiculous notion. Golovkin is the smaller, less powerful man with a considerable reach disadvantage. Hard fight to call, advantage Golovkin, in my book. I always felt Pavlik was under rated as a technician, but Golovkin is bringing an extremely high level of boxing IQ, I see Golovkin playing it carefully knowing he is in against a killer, but finding holes and exposing defensive weaknesses, which Pavlik will be surrendering all night long to land his big one, and he will be surprised and not respect the power of Golovkin. And once Pavlik is taken out of his gameplan, Jack Loew won't know what the hell to do. Golovkin will ride it out to a wide decision vs a wounded and dangerous and badly bloodied Pavlik surviving on heart and swinging wild home run power shots. Golovkin 116-110 (Pavlik down twice)
