no, it was actually his brother and also the police report.

follow the money. his management is now putting in him with someone who is below journeyman level. they dont trust him and neither should you if you are a handicapper.

seriously, this guy is a great fade after he ko's his next fight and they rush to cash in on his last ticket.

please explain. some of us here are trying to handicap fights and will take any info for whatever its worth.

conditioner101 had some incredible insight on cintron as he used to train him.

what are your ties to kp?

give the guy a chance. maybe hes a troll, maybe hes not. if he does have privy to kp camp information, then its not for you to decide if he should be allowed to disseminate it or not.

whatever info he gives you can take it or leave it.

no, i just read the part where you called him an ******* and he got pissed.

seriously, i'm into betting fights and someone on the juice is a serous liabillty.

most recently chris leben arrested for dui after the akiyama fight and he was then kod and cory spinks was arrested for dui and then kod against bundrage.

kp getting linked to a drunken brawl with his brother is very, very bad.

thats out-of-control drunk, much worse than a dui.

This **** is Stuped... The only Meaningful Wins Bute had Were PAVLIK LEFT-Overs besides Andrade.

Kelly Pavlik can go 12 rounds. He Has More Power than anyone BUte has faced. If Bute keeps getting hit like McGEE hit him, it will be LIGHTS OUT for Bute!

Im not a dreaming by any means, and Odds Are Kelly is suppose to Lose. Which anybody who doesnt FOLLOW Pavlik will say he LOSES BAD. When Kelly is the Underdog, he rises Up! Thats whats going to happen in November!

When Pavlik fought McKart back in 2006 there were writers on the internet who claimed the double tough and highly experienced McKart may be a bit to much for the still rather green Pavlik. Wally Matthews and the rest of the "Fight Night" broadcast team had a clear pro-McKArt agenda. McKArt held his own for the first 4 rounds, but Pavlik hurt him in the 5th, and stopped him in the 6th. Afterward McKart said; "I saw the tape on him, and couldn't see what the hype was about. This kid is the real deal. I think he's the real deal."

In May 2007 Vegas odds listed Miranda as a 2:1 favorite over Pavlik. Miranda's previous 4 fights were against Howard Eastman (TKO 7,) Arthur Abraham (that fight should have ended with a 4th round TKO win for Edison,) Willie Gibbs was a top contender at that time, but Miranda stopped him in one round, Allan Green was still a top guy around 160, and Miranda scored a 10 round UD. There is way to much revisionist history surrounding Miranda. The man was a ****iing beast at 160. When Pavlik told Jim Lampley he was going to back Miranda up and knock him out, Lampley had trouble stifling a laugh!. Miranda was a 2:1 favorite before the fight, afterward he was a ruined fighter. He's never been the same.

Back in 2005 Winky still held a title at 154, and Pavlik could still make the weight. Kelly called Winky out numerous times, but Winky always made other plans. After the McKart fight in 2006 KP criticized Winky for never taking a fight, he called out Jermain Taylor, and criticized Abraham. It wasn't until after KP stopped Zuniga, McKart, Zertuche, and Miranda in under two years that he finally got a shot at Taylor.

Pavlik was not HBO"S first choice for a Taylor opponent. Pavlik/Miranda was a set-up that HBO brought Kelly in to lose. They picked him to make Miranda Look good. Apparently somone forgot to forward a copy of the memo to Team Pavlik, and Kelly ignored the corporate plan, and earned his shot at Taylor.

During the early part of the build up to Pavlik/Taylor it was an even money fight. Later on, when the so called "smart money" came in, the odds opened up and made Taylor an 8:5 favorite.

Come fight time Kelly Pavlik did something Bernard Hopkins and Winky Wright could not do. He beat Jermain Taylor by KO. Emmanuel Steward described the fight from the 3rd round on like this: "I wasn't thinking about the scorecards. I could see the fight was moving strictly for Kelly. It was moving strictly for Kelly."

In order to get his title shot Pavlik had to sign for an above the limit rematch at 166 pounds. In spite of the fact that Jermain has tangled with some of the best fighters on the planet, KP did something Hopkins, Wright, and Froch could not do. He scored a clean and clear unanimous decision over JT.

Under the present conditions I'm tempted to side with Bute for this fight. Of course I'll root for Kelly, but I do not think I have EVER outright picked Pavlik to beat Bute. I may of said some things while joking around with the hardcore Bute fans, but that's all in good fun. Lucian Bute is the favorite going into this fight.

However, write Pavlik off at your own peril. Kelly Pavlik has made a career out of doing things he was not suppose to be able to do.

I agree Bute must not take Pavlik lightly but your opinion on Bute's defense is all wrong. Magee said he could not land hard on Bute. That's what surprised him in the ring. Many punches seem to land but don't and those who land don't land hard. Don't get fooled by Bute's low right hand. That's his way to trap his opponents and counter them. Bute survived to many big punchers: Berrio, Miranda, Zuniga, Bika and had the same defense, based on reflexes. You think you have a whole, you swing, you miss, he doesn't. In order to win, Pavlik will have to effectively land hard shots on Bute. He'll have to be faster than Bute's reflexes. If he does, Bute is in deep trouble. I still haven't saw a fighter be faster than him though.
