I read it but whos Edison Miranda? What level of fighter has he proved to be?

Jermain Taylor fought a bunch of LMWs and arguably lost to Spinks in his reign between two controversial wins against Hopkins then lost to Pavlik whilst still relatively unproven at top level

JT USED to be a great fighter, former champ,Bronze metal. that is a good name to beat. U know i dont think he is overrated. would u say Cal would be overrated if he gets beat by RJJ?

Once Pavlik gets all 4 belts, would u still call him overrated?

So when did JT become a not so great fighter?

Have i mentioned at any point in this thread how i rate JC? As far as my opinion is ive only mentioned how i believe Pavlik is overrated.

Well I can see your point clearly but you seems not to understand mine.

The guy is undefeated and irregardless how you question the credibilty of his opponents people will still regard him a great exciting fighter. He made a name here inside U.S. dude . . . that's the main factor.

He's the best middleweight in the world, has the best record at middleweight in the world, and is the linear champion and middleweight.

Its impossible to overrate him as a current middleweight.

I believe Arthur Abraham is not that good in reality, Felix Sturm also looks very beatable so much so in his first stiff test hell more than likely lose his belt! Abraham might keep his for a while but like ive said in this thread already only because competition is pretty limited at MW!

I don't expect Taylor to do very well at SMW, but he is still a name. He has taken great pride in meeting all the smaller guys he could, and if they were featherfisted as well, it was all good.

I think me and you actually agree, hes an exciting fighter with prospects which makes him very well supported i just think a lot of people have started shouting his name about as if hes the next great thing at MW (not saying youve been saying that)

Im not arguing these facts all im saying is people shouldnt talk about him in the sense hes running before he can walk as a fighter rather than a middleweight!

Pavlik is the real deal. He KO'd Miranda & KO'd Taylor & Decisioned Taylor. Who would he have to beat to impress you?

Maybe Calzaghe. Too bad his man didn't want to face Pavlik for one reason or another.
