    How about a proven fighter, and dont give me that BS that Taylor was proven for controversially beating Hopkins twice! Im not saying he has to go clear out every division up to CW im just saying hes overrated!

    Dont get me wrong im no JC nuthugger, ive never once given my opinion on what i think about him on this site! It just seems that for him to prove himself he needs to beat the new kid on the block everytime he beats the old one yet Pavlik (who im not hating on i enjoy watching) comes along and is instantly rated up there

    So because there might be one, maybe two at most, fighters, who fight a weight class above him, better than him, he is overrated?

    That is some record setting stupidity.

    Who isn't overrated if Pavlik is? Name these mysterious "proven" fighters he should face. Proof is in results, the guy who beat the undisputed champ, and then beat him again, is as proven as is possible.

    Thing is i really like Pavlik and i hope he does have a really successful career but i also used to really like Hatton, not because i thought he had immense skill but i really ejoyed watching him fight. But anyway all the nuthugging started and he got overrated and people actually believed he could beat Mayweather where in reality he was never on that level! In the end i found myself not really caring about supporting him anymore because people built him up so much.

    Thats exactly what im saying, people are building him up like he could just step up and ruin everyone at SMW where in reality it wouldnt be straight foward! Although he might beat JC which i dont think he would and he might beat Kessler which i think would be a very interesting match some people are making it out as if its a dead cert!

    WHy? It's as much a waste of time as correcting someone who claims the moon is made of cheese.

    His post is nothing but his opinion. Most of which, I'll bet you agree with. If not, maybe YOU can remedy it.:deal

    Most posts are opinions. You say ESB sucks nowadays, but you won't add to the quality, because you feel their opinions suck.

    Furthermore you don't want to argue with someone who claims the moon is made of cheese, but waste time telling him that his opinion suck. That seems ineffecient and adds to the suckrate of this forum - just like my post here.

    What is deceptive about linear, undisputed MW champ? You can make arguments about the earlier fights, but once you have beat the best in the division?

    Damn, right Beebs.

    Pavlik is the best thing going on in American boxing today. I have to hold myself back from proclaiming him to be the Next Great Middleweight fom time to time - but if Pavlik doesn't possess the potential to be the Next Great Middleweight - then who the eff does?

    Most are opinions, but there are opinion based on what we've all seen. Not all opinions are on the same level here. Not all opinions are equal. I say ESB sucks nowadays because we have too many posters who cannot be objective, and too many who start "thread wars" or take sides, or just talk ****.

    If someone is just going to start a thread saying how bad Pavlik is, why should one take the time to adress it properly when it's not proper in itself? Hence the waste of time. I guess like this explanation of what I though was obvious.

    he just knocked out the great gary lockett he was trained by enzo calzaghe lockett must be great. lol what a joke the calzagayies r. pav is not a all time great but if he keeps it up he will be on his. i hink this name calling is a build up for a great fight i cant wait till pavlik takes on their whole camp
