No shame in losing to bhop i think Kelly should be given more credit for taking a fight that from the start had a no win situation..Not sayin he had no chance but he took on a crafty vet that is till dangerous..Props to kelly and continued success

At least your sensible enough to see that the threads having pavlik beat everyone right through to light heavy were ridiculous.
If Pavlik had lost last night but had at least shown signs of getting into the fight and give bernard problems then I wouldnt be so damning of him.
But that performance last night by pavlik was embarassing.
He needs to go back get a new trainer and work on his footwork and head movement.
Tyson for example relied in his early career on great head movement making people miss and punishing them.
When tyson lost that head movement he became easy to hit and was never the same fighter.
Pavlik needs to learn to have a plan b and even c, if you think about it early on in the taylor fight pavlik was getting a pasting, taylor couldnt miss and was hurting pavlik, this should have rung alarm bells that if this was what a middleweight could do what would a fully fledged light heavy do???

No the **** he didnt. A slap does not equal a punch. Bhop and Pavlik ****ing punch. Calzaghe has been EXPOSED as not being capable of throwing a punch at all.

He didnt win in reality. His performance just proved why he is not on that level. He was the ****ing laughing stock of boxing after that fight. Anyone that tuned in said that dude fight like a ****ing *****. Whom else in the sport of boxing slaps side armed like a girl. He was exposed in the Manfredo fight with all that barrage a slap and missing every single god damned slap. Same **** with the bhop fight. Show me a photo of him landing a clean shot. :rofl:rofl

To call the undisputed MW champion of the world a joke because he lost to an ATG several weightclasses above MW, is the true joke

Excuses excuses you dont know what your talking about.
Bernard made that fight ugly even roach admitted that they had plans to counter the high output of punches of calzaghe, by smothering him.
Yet your quick to knock a ricky hatton for his fight style and up close boxing, but your surprisingly quiet when it come to bernard doing it.
    Hmmmm double standards.
Bernard knew that if he tried an open fight against calzaghe he would lose, calzaghe would have danced around the ring taking pot shots at hopkins and then beating him with combos.
Bernard is clever you most ceratainly are not :yep

Pavlik may not be a joke, but he looked like one last night. He was outworked by a 43 year old man who had been throwing 20 punches a round for the last 2 years. Hopkins made Pavlik look like a rank amateur out there. Kelly only had a plan A and Hopkins ****ed up that plan after 1 round. Like Richardson said they were going to do, they put that right hand in the same drawer they put Tito's left hook. After 3 rounds, Pavlik's only hope was for Hopkins to get tired and that never happened. Hopkins threw over 60 punches in the final round. It was target practice out there.

Team Pavlik believed too many of the press clippings. It was obvious that they didn't respect Hopkins and Kelly paid for it. Pavlik might as well forget about fighting Calzaghe, Kessler, Dawson or any other elite fighters at 168 or 175. He should go back to 160, and recapture the hunger that got him to where he was before the Hopkins' fight. In reality, the guy has only beat two guys. Hopefully, Pavlik learns his lesson and doesn't get caught up in the hype and the money again.
