    Kelly Pavlik has been studying tapes of Jermain Taylor's two wins over Bernard Hopkins rather than his most recent fights.

    Could this be dangerous ?

    I thought Bernard beat Joe Calzaghe, he landed the cleaner shots and also put Calzaghe down in the first round, he prepared well for that fight he even read Joe's autobiography.

    I'm with all of this. Including the last sentence. I favor Kelly on stamina, power and blistering pace. Also, he's no dummy. He'll do his homework and while Hops may indeed have more than one gameplan, it's not entirely out of the question that Pavlik has already considered it.

    That said, 'the Executioner' is old, mean, crusty, crafty and just a little bit evil.


    For the record :I'm pickin' Kelly Pavlik by clear UD or maybe even some kinda' stoppage as BH should be ripe for the taking by a properly motivated, busy youngster. But ya' never know...

    Hopkins's gameplans:

    1. Clinch & headbutt
    2. Use elbows & lowblows
    3. Fake low blows
    4. Try to sound smart in the post fight interview by using 'fancy' words out of context.

    Pavlik should be watching John Ruiz fights as all Hopkins did against Calzaghe was grab, hold, and clinch.

    Hopkins is hungry and is gonna pull a world class performance just like with Tarver and make Pavlik look bad.

    It's a no lose scenario, I hope to **** slaphead loses but otherwise I'll get +1 Win in the prediction league
