I've got a DVD of that and remember it being a terrific scrap. So was his title-losing effort against Canizales. He was kind of like a mini-Saad Muhammad in style.
I'm actually not an expert on the man. But I do know he lost the belt to Canizales (which is supposed to be a good fight too). This was the only fight of his I've ever seen. And idk what happened but I scored him losing all 9 rds before the stoppage...even rds 1 & 8 where he had his best success he got whipped lol. But he had HEART for days. So yeah I guess you could say he reminded me of Saad a bit. He doesn't have the combos Saad had. but he has the same tendency to retreat to the ropes, take punishment, & counter out of there with bombs. Lol
I'm actually not sure what caused the stoppage in this fight? Since it happened in France. Weird. Bc Jacob was so far ahead he could of lost rds 10-15, been knocked down twice, and lost a pt for a foul. He still would've walked out as champ...he was that far ahead by that point. I didn't even know he was hurt/injured. It was weird.

Oh guys it's me who uploaded it on youtube. Please don't act as if French boxers aren't warriors, there are too many examples proving the contrary. Jacob was a great warrior. I don't know why the decision was a NC in the first place, strange homecooking I presume.
It was a NC? Boxer says it was 10th rd TKO. And that's what it looke like to me. But again the videos in French so I have no idea why Jacobs couldn't continue. It was weird.
