Just curious. Was Cintron a hyped prospect on the way up? What was the general conses of him, before the magarito losses?
Floyd is the Ducking Master if Cintron was ever considered remotely dangerous, then Floyd probably ducked him, or would have ducked him duck and cherrypick, those are the 2 traits that define Floyd
Kermit wasn't "hyped" really. He looked very good early on fighting on espn. Had some good wins. He was a hot prospect but no one was calling him the next big thing.
He was getting a lot of hype, naturally from the Ricans. He was supposed to be this powerful puncher, possibly the coming of the next Tito, until Margarito literally made him cry on his knees.
on ESPN ppv no less. That breakdown was the beginning of the end for him. What's nuts is that he never really looked hurt even when he got hurt. He just folded
Yeah, I remember that. Even in the 2nd fight, that left hook to the ribs was huge, but even then it seemed like he just didn't want to be in there.
He got some hype from KOing a bunch of cans on ESPN and he had a bunch of tattoos which thought made him look cool. He had good power but nothing great he had a big frame as well for WW so he got some hype.
