He probably clears out the weight class. 135 is pretty weak at the moment. Rios and Marquez both have a decent chance of beating him. Possibly Guerrero if he has a good night.

He took some HUGE shots from Duran that night, and Roberto was a terrific puncher at that weight.

He'd be a fairly dominant champion. Outside of Marquez, there really isn't much talent there, and an old, featherweight counter-puncher isn't really going to give Ken problems.

Exactly. It is amazing to me how people don't realize how far boxing has fallen.

Brandon beating Ken is a joke.

He might be champ, would be at top. Something to consider is they weighed in day of fight till 1990's. Now they weigh in day before, and come in 10 pounds over limit. Also with weight training yesterdays lightweights are todays welterweights, and in some cases 154 pounders.

Buchanan was a great lightweight at his best. Light years ahead of anybody fighting there today. No question about it that he'd clear the weight out. None. Rios, Marquez, Acosta, Guerrero, Soto, whoever...wouldn't have been a problem for Ken.

...and Watt and Laguna would've been at the very top of the division as well.

He is not unbeatable like Floyd though.
