What beat me the ref STILL claimed the punch was legal & before the bell after watching a replay he wouldn't talk about it any more Duran would never give Ken a rematch that says something

CJ, Duran responded with the ballbag punch after Kenny threw a couple of punches CLEARLY after the bell had rung-and not for the 1st time in the fight.

Do you know what Kenny said after the fight? There was nothing he didn't do in the way of fouling. Ref wouldn't do anything so I just joined in. The bit that got me was the ref arguing that the Duran low blow was " On the bell & a legal punch" While watching the replay LOL I guess he never visited him in hospital with his family jewels all iced up

When I was a 16 yr old I was in a tournament . The kid I was fighting dropped shots low 2 or 3 times. I said to ref " What you going to do about his low blows" ref said " Youre fighting him not me son" I finally did let him have one in response & he fell down rolling in fake agony wouldn't get up so the ref DQ'd me. My coach went ballistic at the ref he just sneered. Few days later at the gym that ref came in. He said " Has your boy become a man yet" Coach said He's a young man are you areal man come in the ring with me see how much of a man you are." He couldn't get out of it LOL My old coach beat the living daylights out of him. He was a champion in his day He made the ref look just what he was a coward the way he left the ring lol Found out afterwards the ref was the kid I was fightings uncle LOL

I know it was a low blow. And shame on the ref for saying that. But it was in response to Kenny's throwing punches after the bell had clearly rung, and not for the 1st time in the fight.

RIP Champ. The best fighter to come out of the UK.

I think he would have had success against today's 135 fighters.
