I'm not sure if you've seen it yet mate but someone has started a Buchanan thread in CHB lounge with a fb link to Ken shadow boxing in the Lochend gym. He looks in great shape. It's a pity I'm on a years ban over there so I can't comment on it.
Someone should fire the link up on here so the the lads on here can see it.

Ken's away victory against Ismael Laguna has got to be the greatest away win ever by a British fighter.

Well,I would say so....what with the way the Duran fight ended...and with that partisan referee....and no rematch...!!

Such a great bloke too.that display against donato puduano remains the greatest display of boxing I've ever seen, no wonder the yanks took to him.

I met him once but we were both ****ed so not much sense was made. It was at a Calzaghe fight in Edinburgh. He was standing at the venue bar on his own while hundreds of arm chair boxing fans walked past him. There was a C list celeb at the bar as well who was getting more recognition than Ken. This C list celeb (a gambling advisor) also didn't recognise Ken.
I'm glad Ken has sorted himself out in time for his red carpet walk for the Roberto Duran movie. It's about time that man was respected not just in Scotland but in the UK.
I remember when Mike Tyson fought in Scotland he had a rant to the press because he couldn't believe Ken was living the way he was and was virtually dismissed by his own people. Mike was disgusted.

I was shocked at how good he looks for a 70 year old. I suppose natural talent will shine through at any age.
It's great that the Lochend boxing club guys are pushing for Ken to get the respect he deserves in his own City.

Good for Mike Tyson, he's gone up a notch now.I've had rants over the years myself usually along these lines......"how come when he was the undisputed champion of the world, Princess fookin Anne was sports personality of the year ??????"
I'd had a few when I met him in Manchester and he came in the Trafford Arms.I was surprised he's taller than the records say, I reckon a good 1 1/2" taller.
I told him I used to box but wasn't much good, he said "at least you had a go'
I asked him about his fights etc etc, he was a good laugh, I'd love to meet him again.
