A prime Buchanan up against the 1981 Arguello who beat Ken's fellow Scot,Jim Watt.

Not the biggest fan of Buchanan and a big fan of of arguello but in a close fight I will go for Buchanan via close decision . Buchanan's left hand is the edge for me

To be honest watched a bit of Buchanan a few weeks back and his left hand in general really impressed me he at times he threw a really good left to the chest

I like Arguello to come on later in the fight for a decision win.

As much as I love Arguello, Buchanan was far too tough, clever and classy for him. He would deftly outbox Arguello over 15.

I think its a rough match up for Arguello even though he's the better fighter. The thin man struggled with movers end Buchanan could move.

Arguello was too slow on his feet and hittable by the time he got to lightweight.Starts even slower than Buchanan too.

Still a hard competitive fight, but Buchanan stays a step ahead and has the range, cyborg toughness and late rounds ability that someone like Ruben castillo lacked in overcoming the late Arguello surge.

Laguna beats him too.MIght get worked over a bit more late on, but would do a serious number on Alexis for the first 8-10

I've always felt that Anything Vilomar Fernandez coiuld do...then Ken Buchanan can do..Plus ! .so it would be Buchanan for me on points also, a case of Alexis not happy with this style matchup - one think i will say About Alexis, a true gentleman, i always got the impression that he eased off Against Jim Watt, having dropped Watt, and clearly was heading for the win, i suspect Alexis had little urge to embarrass Jim by KoĆng him in front of his own fans, i could be wrong but Alexis seemed happy to settle for the points win
