Well Buchanan IS overrated on here... but he was better than Chico. Ken survives some scary moments and either decisions Corrales or stops him late.
I pretty much agree although I can't see him stopping him. Ken wasn't big banger and if he couldn't stop an end of the line Laguna its hard to see it happening here.
An end of the line Laguna was about 15 times as skilled as Chico though. Corrales may survive but he'll end up receiving an uncompetitive pasting by the end.
Buchanan pastes Corrales...outclasses him en route to a lopsided decision and decks him alomg the way.
Kens jab and movement win him this, but Corrales has a punchers chance right to the finnish and has a decent jab, speed, great inside game and counter punching of his own, so would make it closer than most give him credit for
Laguna had a much, much better chin than Corrales...NO ONE ever stopped Laguna...so Ken gets a pass on this one.
Corrales is made to be torn to shreds by a quicker, sraight puncher with the excellent multi-directional movement Ken had. Chico threw really nice punches, had excellent power and did fight well inside, but he's got no defence and **** legs, while rarely ever using his jab or height like he should have. i se this playing out much like the Floyd fight, only Buchanan gets hit and exchanges more, while doing more damage.Chico doesn't get starched, but probably stopped after a number of knockdowns while taking too much punishment.
I reckon Buchanan would completely outclass him, I don't even think it's too much to do with him being better, just a styles issue
