    Buchanan UD Mancini (ca. 9-5-1)

Too much on everything for Ray IMO...

Mancini might rock him at some stage, though Buchanan would come back throwing more leather. Truth be told Buchanan is simply too good down the stretch and would eventually earn a clear UD.

Buchanan wins a UD. I also agree with the gentleman that would pick Buchanan over Meldrick Taylor, as Taylor would quite likely be the 'bull' for that fight and Buchanan had enough chin and sharp counters even for the lightning-fast Taylor.

I see Chavez winning in a 15-rounder, though.

I think Mancini by close sd. As good as Ken was, Boom Boom had that something, which would carry him through.

I loved Boom Booms style and build up and he had a lot of heart and action but Ken Buchanan was a rugged class boxer. This fight would be competetive and have its moments but other than cuts I dont see a stoppage but I see a close UD win for Ken B

That "something" that only existed in the myth of Mancini.

Buchanan was the much better of the two.

Mancini never in a million years beats Laguna.

Don't underestimate Boom Boom. He gave Arguello fits for a time.

Buchanan by UD or late ref stoppage due to cuts.
