Personally I think Ken Buchanan is pretty underrated in general, but how do you think he stacks up against some of the elite lightweights from the previous 3 decades?
    12 rounds
    Shane Mosley
    Juan Manuel Márquez
    Floyd Mayweather
    Manny Pac
    De La Hoya

Beats Marquez & Mosley, isn't good enough for Floyd or Pacquiao, and is too small for Del a Hoya IMO.

Dunno what a lifhtw is lol

The option should be just above the OP mate.

If we're talking about all 5 at their LW best, I think he would have the best chance against Marquez. I don't really see him beating any of the other 4.

He beats Marquez. I say that with a lot of confidence.

Might even beat Oscar, just because his ring IQ was much higher than the idiot DLH.

He loses to Floyd, Pac, and Mosley.

Lightweight Mosley gets very underrated. I'd pick Shane at 135 over everyone on this list.

    3-2.

Too smart and too good over 15 rounds over De la Hoya, who tended to fade and wasn’t too sharp. Mosley could never make 135 in Buchanan’s day (not could Oscar for that matter) but assuming he had to, and couldn’t access PED’s he probably loses. Marquez, while a better fighter, is stretched to his limit at 135 and would be relying on Buchanan to move forward most of the time. I think he’d be edged out.

Buchanan probably loses competitive decisions to the other two.

You can't possibly take a shot at Shane for PEDs, and say nothing about Pac.

The whole world knows Manny is a career juicer.

Buchanan's not beating Mosley. He'd be drawn into a brawl, and Shane's firepower would be too much.

Mosley's extremely underrated in mythical matchups.

Buchanan went 13 rounds with the greatest lighweight of alltime.
Mosley would get his head jabbed off.
Mayweather beats Ken but its a lot closer then most people think. That jab would present Magweathers problem.

I'm the biggest Duran fan here, but Mosley would do better against Duran at 135 than Buchanan did.

Don't me wrong, Duran outclasses Mosley, but Mosley presents more problems for Duran than Buchanan did.

It's fashionable to hate Shane Mosley, but he was quite special at 135.

Both are career juicers but Pacquaio is a better fighter and I know he can make 135 on day day weigh-in’s and be fine whereas Mosley could not do so and be the same.

Mosley hasn't been overrated since 2001.

In recent years, he's actually become very underrrated.

In 2020, guys talk about Shane like he was the level of David Tua.
