Buchanan wins a unanimous 15 round decision, after a slow start and some aggresion driven good early rounds for Tendler, Buchanan figures him out and takes control with his superior jab and boxing.
TENDLER WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO BE CHAMP ,BUT HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO BE A CONTEMPORY OF LEONARD ,HE COULD HIT AND BOX,I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW MANY SOUTH PAWS BUCHANAN MET ,BUT I WOULD TAKE HIM TO WIN A DEC.
I don't know enough about Tendler to make a legitimate call on this, but I will say that I've seen film of Tendler where he makes Benny Leonard look less than spectacular.
