Bruno would have a very slim chance of winning this. It would depend on him getting his big clubbing shots in early, which would make Norton freeze up and leave him self opem for the ko. It would be unlikely though as Frank rarely did that with the top guys. More than likely it would be a bit of a chess match in the opening rounds,of which Bruno would win his share of the points. Kenny's jab would start coming into play more frequently after the third or fourth round, with Bruno tiring. The American would then set Bruno up for an eighth or ninth stanza technical knockout.

Styles make fights and Norton has a simply awful record against clubbing power punchers like Bruno.

Maybe if the late George Francis could drill it into the 18 stone robot that he could get this done, if he did not bottle it; then maybe the Bomber does, but it would have to be early like Foreman and Cooney...

Nothing against Hercules, he was a far better fighter overall than Frank, clearly, much higher up the all-time Heavyweight rankings.

Norton all the way, and if he fights the way he did the night he broke Ali's jaw then frank's getting knocked out.

Norton would stop Bruno in 11 rounds, he's another notch up on the scale than Bruno.

Norton may have been the higher calibur fighter, but I don't know if that guarantees him a win here. Bruno was beaten buy guys who could both punch hard, take a punch and applied endless pressure.. Doesn't exactly describe Norton... Ken would do alright as long as he wasn't hurt or stunned, but if Frank got him in trouble ( a very real possibility ) then the end wouldn't be far behind.

  8. Norton for sure. Bruno would absorb a lot of punishment as would norton. Norton might get stunned but win on work rate

It's highly unlikely that bruno would win but you'd have to give anyone who could punch like him at least a punchers chance.

    Frank Bruno lost to:

    Mike Tyson 2X
    Lennox Lewis
    Tim Witherspoon
    James Smith

What this essentially means is that it took an exceptional fighter or a big puncher to beat Frank Bruno.

While Norton was a class above Frank and should be favored, I think Bruno's power makes this a contest a pretty compelling one.

I pick Norton, but not without reservation.

I think Bruno was a bit too big and powerful for Norton. Anyone who could bully Norton could knock him out. Bruno could also box a bit. I say Bruno catches up to Norton and takes him out by the 6th round. Ken has lost to lesser fighters.

yes , Bruno was no Ali or Holmes and his hardest punches were at least as hard as Shavers'

Whoah there, buddy. Bruno was a hard puncher, but I wouldn't put him in the class of Shavers.

    his fight against McCall , 1st rd , i can c y it was a 10-8 in favor of Bruno .
But usually Bruno relied more on his foul holding d head & rabbit punching whereas Shavers was a clean fighter who demonstrated his power in a legit manner much more often .
