Ken Norton Versus Alexander Povetkin

To be fair, Norton due to his physique would be a walking red flag when it comes to the PED use if he fought in the 2000's and 10's.

 

Yeah...I don't think it was illegal in the 70s, and he came from the right background/connections (gym rat, track & field, Hollywood) so I guess it's technically possible.

 

Povetkin ain't George Foreman, a past his prime Norton went 15 brutal rounds with Larry Holmes and never faltered. He'd take Povetkin out

 

It's a reference to the Bruno Vs Povetkin thread from a bit ago. One poster said he couldn't see how anyone would pick Pov and just assumed everyone who did was racist.

Norton makes Povetkin looks like a ****** in the wild until he caught Norton with a big punch.

 

Povetkin will make Norton back up and he’ll fall apart happened to him everytime an opponent could make him go backwards.

 

In my book, once you are busted for PEDs, every fight is suspicious.

BUT, when he was young, he was pudgy and more of a swarmer than a true puncher.

 

Flip a coin. They probably split a pair of fights in reality. But I think Ken wins the first one.
