I like Floyd but people forget how ordinary he often was .. he did not just get floored by Pete R. in the man's first pro fight but was basically fought to a stand still for the first few rounds .. he struggled with Hurricane Jackson. He was destroyed by one trick pony Johannsson and then almost lost to him again in the rubber match ... Liston wiped the floors with him .. Ali shut him out .. my point is he is a little overrated by some here ..

In my opinion Norton beat Ali twice and drew with him once. He destroyed a faded Quarry. He crushed Bobick and decisioned Young. He fought a prime Holmes to a stand still. The more I think about it the more I like Kenny.

Norton was very good as a rhythm breaker but he could not pass the test vs a puncher. This is a tough fight to pick because both men failed against punchers that applied pressure. Norton was strong enough and unorthodox enough to hurt Floyd but Floyd was fast and hit harder than Ali, Bobick and an older Floyd fought close with a young, green, Quarry (IMO a better version that fought Norton ...hard to get a handle on this one
