Ken Norton vs Ike Ibeabuchi primes

Bad match for Norton.
Ike KO 1-4

 

I don't think Ibeabuchi needs to be technical with Norton and simply blitzes him in the opening rounds.

 

Just too little data. Yeah, Norton struggled against punchers, but Ike never fought a quality guy who was 6'3". I always wonder why the Grant fight never materialized. Was there something in that swarmer style that needed a physical advantage?

I don't know.

 

Norton way more skilled but he tended to stand in front of dudes and fight them head on. Not sure that Ike is the right guy to do that with.

 

I would have to say that I go with Ike

 

Chinny Kenny gets whacked early.

 

Norton way too chinny, and doesn't have the power to keep Ike off him.

 

Because Ike outside the ring was bat**** crazy.

 

I think Ibeabuchi's pressure would have overcome Norton's defense and Ken's jaw would not have been able to withstand the power of The President, so I say Ibeabuchi by TKO before the 10th round.

 

Ken gets stopped early.

 

Ibeabuchi screwed up before we truly knew more about him, but I'll go with him by KO over Norton.
Norton didn't do well when faced with big punchers.
