Norton by late ko but gets nailed by Walcott s counters time and time again. No walk in the park for Kenny.
Just watched Ali-Norton 2. Ken pushed Ali all the way in that one as well. Norton's pressure gets him a points decision over Walcott in a good fight.
These two are on the same level and are both pretty bad for one another stylistically. I think Walcott's crafty power shots and defence would win, but Norton's workrate and jab could win on points too. 50/50, great fight.
Although I do think Jersey Joe was the better fighter, Kenny is made to beat him. One of Walcott's greatest strengths was counterpunching, and Norton was largely unaffected by the counterpunching of Ali and Young, so I can't say Walcott would be too much more successful, except that he did hit harder than Ali or Young. Norton SD in a spectacular fight.
