Usyk is far more skilled than Norton was, he`d out-box him.

Norton is a pretty good match up vs boxers. Its vs punchers that he struggles.

IMO we need to see more of Ukyk at heavyweight before i can favour him over a strong pressure fighter like Norton.

Remember Norton nearly beat a prime Larry Holmes.

    Norton UD for now.

I wouldn’t say a whole different level, but Norton’s style is gonna give usyk a world of problems

Usyk PTS. He has the workrate to more than keep up with Norton, and he wouldn't gas like Ali did. And he wouldn't trade with him like Holmes did. As a southpaw, Norton would have more trouble cutting the ring off vs him so Usyk UD for mine. Norton is very overrated.

Also, I hate the whole idea that Norton is awful for out-boxers. It should be remembered that he had just as much as trouble against them as they did against him. Surely if he gives Holmes so much trouble, he wouldn't need a controversial to beat Jimmy Young?

Ali was out of shape in his first bout v Norton and didn`t look great in the second clash with Norton, Ali tired late in that bout, I feel Usyk`s workrate and constant activity would lead to him landing more on Norton than Ali did because Ali used excessive movement and didn`t throw enough, Ali was past it in the third fight and nowhere the level that Usyk is at now being much younger than Ali was in `76.

Not very often your wrong George but you are here. He beat 2 of the top 5 boxers at heavy ever in Ali and Holmes, thats most peoples opinions on that ranking, Ali could never ever pull away from him even 60's Ali, you could see he could match Ali in Boxing, then years later boxed Holmes and came very very close past prime in beating him..Hes underated skill wise, he was vulnerable to punchers thats it

I think Norton is apt to find and exploit any technical flaws in Usyk, whilst defending quite well against him. I also think, as well as his tendency to counter over a jab-offensive, Norton's ability to launch effective attacks to the body might be the difference here.

As it stands, at this point in time, I'd have to back Norton.

Until Usyk proves himself consistently in heavyweight division i will go for Norton.

Any boxer who basically was the nemisis of Ali i tip my hat too, you had to have something special to do that, and i say that as a big Ali fan.

Time however might change my opinion of Usyk vs Norton
