Tim was a much better boxer and underrated puncher, so I am tempted to say Terrible Tim on the upset. Problem is, character matters, and when you talk about his "prime," you are probably only really talking about a couple of fights, maybe the Page fight, or Bruno.

For me, it could go either way.

    Agreed.
Frankly I think Witherspoon would need a knockout to beat Ken ( which he certainly could have gotten. ) But something tells me that if Norton managed to hangout all night he would have figured out Tim’s style and ultimately outpointed him. Norton was good at troubling boxers and with Eddie Futch in his corner he’d certainly have some tricks up his sleeve.

Referee’s instructions: “Touch ‘em up, cross your arms and come out fighting at the bell.”

Norton's work rate would carry the day.

Plus I don't think Tim has the power to KO a prime Norton, hurt him some but not stop him and he'd have to.

Would be a good fight, exciting at times and both men fighting thru a storm. I'll give it to Kenny by split.

I agree with the first 2 posts. Tim could ko him and kenny could win by decision too, for sure this one is a fair competitive and interesting fight

Witherspoon is not going to like the body punching from this guy. And Norton has superior conditioning. I also think Kenny's oddball jab would be a problem for Spoon and he would never solve it. Lopsided decision for the better conditioned fighter.

Two overhand right masters. Nortons got the better jab hook and workrate not to mention conditioning. I'll expect him to take a razor decision.

A good one. I think Norton's style put him into harms way and Witherspoon hit hard enough to qualify as a puncher. Assuming he was motivated, I'd pick Witherspoon via later round TKO.
