I favour Norton because, whilst Witherspoon could fight going forward and backwards as opposed to Norton only being able to fight going forward pressuring, I don’t see it helping Witherspoon, Ali in the first Norton fight was much more mobile and a better backfoot boxer than prime Witherspoon and Norton dealt with him in that fight, and if Witherspoon met Norton in the Middle, I feel like Norton is better in that department, although they have very similar styles when pressuring, I feel Norton is slightly better at that because he’s better at using clinchwork and pushing opponents to create space for punches, also has a more sneaky jab, he’ll make it look like he’s looking to throw the overhand right by leaning to the side, then he’ll unexpectedly snap that jab out, I also feel like Norton is stronger than Witherspoon and noticeably as well, I feel like Witherspoon’s best chance is to combine the 2 styles and try to fight as a boxer-puncher, on the backfoot, but with his feet planted looked to walk Norton into big punches, but I still don’t think it’d pay off as I don’t believe he has the tools for that. Who wins this matchup?
Norton has a nice, high work rate and a good jab that could offset Spoon's own left. You need to press and sustain attack against Norton, and Witherspoon didn't do that enough. Norton UD.
I’ve been vocal that Norton is on too high a pedestal on this forum but I like him here and it goes the distance.
Good fight. Ken's magnificent condition splits the difference between two men with quite similar styles. Norton by approx 9 - 6 in rounds.
50-50 for me It would be bery good fight to watch, two same style fighters, one punches harder while other had better stamina. Really I can't and wont bet on this one.
