Actually, I’m on some very nice painkillers (fact). I guess my current posting is akin to me drinking at the same time. Thank you for your concern - when my spelling starts to become jumbled you might want to check in on me aigain. Al god four know.
I know him an Weaver were buddies and he gave him his name Hercules. Probably one of the only guys who could compare. I do think Young Foreman looked, obviously not as cut but he had a great build. Anyway one thing I had been think, maybe Norton was doing body weight exercises? I know a few guys who got fairly cut doing that. Here’s some pics of Harold Johnson in the gym doing something like that and he was one of the most built guys ever. https://books.google.it/books?id=Su...OEAM#v=onepage&q=harold johnson boxer&f=false combine that with good genes and maybe a plausible explanation?
Yeah, I always think the question “Do you lift weights?” is open to how much weight work one thinks warrants or constitutes a “yes” answer. I’d bet Norton at least lifted A weight at one time or another - being dedicated and consistently applied to weights is a another thing again - as is everything between the two extremes. As you said, genes combined with some degree of weight work could see more outstanding results than a far more dedicated lifter might ever hope for. Early career Ken appeared more about the cut than volume - he used to keep his weight down - later with an extra 15-20 lbs, Norton’s arms naturally became a bit bigger. I’ve never seen a photo of Ken side by side with Weaver but I’d say Mike’s arms would’ve been noticeably bigger.
