Poetic justice (in my humble and insignificant opinion). I gave Ogawa 2 rounds, the Brit announcer on the feed I watched gave him one, but the truth is, a lot of posters, and even pro judges score "trying hard" as an important scoring criteria. No offense to Ogawa, he did what he could.
Wait, I thought Lampley, Merchant, Kellerman and especially HBO itself were the Great Satan? Or was I dreaming? Farmer is a darling in the US Boxing media's eyes because of his underdog tough start but persevering and getting better in the sport story. Which means he's the "money" guy. That's why everyone is having such a b**** fit because he lost.
Farmer seemed to do enough to win that fight...................shame he was cheated, but that's boxing............
I actually expected a heated discussion here as soon as I read it on the scene, as it involves a Japanese fighter who beat an American one. But the main thing I got from this is... Nevada caught someone on a ped without VADA being involved? And it's about syntetic testosterone too, which usually is only very low trace amounts as a by product. You don't see that every day.
that actually happens more often as you'd think. Love vs Rosado, Sturm vs Chudinov II and Mickey Bey too I believe.
What would I say if an American fighter went to Japan, won a controversial decision, and then got busted for performance enhancers. **** that guy.
I doubt that, but if so... well good for you, you're one of the few who'd believe its legit and wouldn't cry foul. You put way too much faith in the powers that be. Do you believe the Russian Collusion story too?
2 rounds? I had it 7-5 Ogawa and remember thinking it could be a draw or even for Farmer... but only two rounds?
Damn Ogawa i was happy that you won the belt on foreign soil and now you done and ****ed things up for yourself.
If Ogawa gets stripped of his IBF belt, maybe we can see a fight between Gervonta Davis and Tevin Farmer for the vacant belt.
...Most people actually think Farmer won the fight. It is normal to for it to take this long to get a result of a positive test. It is abnormal to get a false positive and if that happens generally the lab that does that loses their credentials to continue testing as the UCLA lab did in the Povetkin test where he tested positive for Ostarine. There is no reason to assume foul play in this. The only strange thing here is that I haven't been able to find exactly what he tested positive for.
Then why do you even watch boxing? You think every person is on the take or bought off! You're just wasting your time really, now that's f'd up!
