Kenny Bayless doesn't deserve to ref a world title fight ever again!

I'd say, if he wants it, the Mayweather fight is the only thing left for him to do. Logically, if this fight happens and especially if he wins, Manny would have earned putting his feet up and retiring.

The only thing is if he loses, it would be a shame to end such a glorious career with a defeat. So, if he fights Mayweather and wins, I reckon that'll be it. If he fights Mayweather and loses, maybe a rematch and then that's it.

the thing is referees, and I'm sure Bayless especially, take their responsibilities very seriously. A wrong decision by them could lead to someone losing their life or getting brain damage. It's a tough call to make.

The stoppage was just right. Bayless didn't stop it earlier because Cotto is still jabbing and was not ripe for the taking. It was only on the 12th that Pac changed gear for the finish. Had Bayless continued the fight, Cotto would have been hurt real bad.

I gave Cotto the 10th round, but saying he won the last three rounds is insane. That 9th round could have been scored a 10-8 round for Pacquiao. WTF were you watching LMAO. It's not like it would have mattered, Cotto was losing and was going to lose knockout, decision whatever he would have lost. It was a good stoppage.

Cotto didnt seem to protest the stoppage.. Im sure he would have preferred to be TKOed instead of KOed

Cotto didn't want to fight anymore and who could blame him, his face looked like Rocky. Bayless did the right thing when really the towel should have been thrown in earlier.

That's a 10-9 to Manny then. Whoever scores the knockdown "wins" the round and receives 10, but if the other fighter was dominating up to and after the KD, it's scored a 10-9.

Guys have died in the ring or ended up crippled becuase a fight has gone on too long, the refs decision was justified. Cotto didn't have to fight on and take needless punishment.
